Main directions of investigations:
One of main directions of our scientific work is the development of the theory of spin-related phenomena in metalic and semiconducting nanostructures, related to spintronics. Now it is a rapidly developing area of activity in condensed matter physics and in nanoelectronics. Our investigations in this field are mostly of fundamental character and also importand for various applications in the magnetoelectronic devices. We are working in close cooperation with theorists and experimentalists in Poland (Institute of Physics PAS, Adam Mickiewicz University), Germany (Max-Planck-Institut in Hale), Portugal (Institutio Superior Tecnico), France (Institut Neel) and USA (WavelBand/Serra nevada Corporation).
