The Journal of Mathematics and Applications is the new version of the former journal Folia Scientiarum, Universitatis Technicae Resoviensis which had 27 numbers. Therefore the first issues of the Journal has the number 28.
This new Journal will be devoted to mathematics and now only the mathematical papers will be published in it.
The papers published in Folia Scientiarum, Universitatis Technicae Resoviensis and the papers published in Journal of Mathematics and Applications are reviewed before printing and are also reviewed after printing in Mathematical Review (Ann Arbor, MI, USA) and Zentrallblat für Mathematik (Heidelberg, Germany).
The papers are submitted to print (after the positive opinion of referee) by the members of  the Editorial Board.
